Acne

Blood Pressure Check
If you are over 40 and not on any blood pressure medication you can have a free NHS blood pressure check. This is important to prevent heart disease and strokes. To qualify, the patient must not have previously been identified as having hypertension or a related condition.

Disposal of Unwanted Medicines
If you have out of date or unwanted medicines, both prescription or over the counter drugs, don’t bin them or flush them. You can take your unwanted or out of date medicines back to your pharmacy for safe disposal, and it’s completely FREE. We're very happy to help you.
Emergency Hormonal Contraception
Our pharmacist will need to see the person that the emergency contraception is intended for, and will need to ask a few questions regarding the patients’ medical history. This is done in the privacy of our consultation room and everything discussed is in complete confidence.

Flu Vaccination Services
Book or manage a free or private NHS flu vaccination. If you're aged 65 years old or over before the end of next march, you can book a free flu vaccine. If you're aged 18 to 64 years old, you can book a free flu vaccine if you have certain medical conditions or are pregnant.

Head Lice
Head lice are tiny insects that live in hair. Nits are the empty egg cases attached to hair that head lice hatch from. They’re largely harmless, but can live in the hair for a long time if not treated and can be irritating and frustrating to deal with. Our pharmacists can help you with head lice.
Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids (HEM-uh-roids), also called piles, are swollen veins in the anus and lower rectum. Hemorrhoids are similar to varicose veins. Hemorrhoids can develop inside the rectum, called internal hemorrhoids. They also can develop under the skin around the anus.

Pregnancy Testing
You can carry out most pregnancy tests from the first day of a missed period. If you don't know when your next period is due, do the test at least 21 days after you last had unprotected sex. Some very sensitive pregnancy tests can be used even before you miss a period, from as early as 8 days after conception.
